WOMEN'S SILVER GILDED HOVERFLY NECKLACE

The most popular pendant in the Entomology collection, the Gilded Hoverfly is perfect for those who want an unusual design but whose aesthetic is a little more subtle than the Gilded Scarab Beetle. This piece consists of a life-sized hoverfly cast in Sterling Silver, highlighted with gold plating on the highly detailed wings, set with black diamond eyes on our light curb oxidised chain. Gilded Hoverfly Ring pictured on model for scale. The chain and pendant are both solid Sterling Silver. They can be cleaned using Silver Dip or a light application of a polishing cloth taking care to avoid the gold plated parts. The 24ct gold plating is a three microns thick but over time it may begin to fade with wear and it should not be polished too often. Salt water and harsh chemicals can damage gold plating so remove when swimming and avoid contact with perfume or cleaning products.
