With experience from Parsons School of Design, Peter Speliopoulos now applies his passion for craft to contemporary, hand-stained leather table accessories. His desire to present a balance between primitive and contemporary worlds is at the heart of everything he does, creating pieces that'll provoke the senses and stir up conversations about the past, present and future. This set of blue leather placemats is constructed in Umbria, Italy, and finished with a water-repellent coating for effortless cleaning. Note how each rounded piece has an organic, natural quality with slight variations that lend a soft, subtle patina.
