New Balance MD500v8 Running Spikes Designed for the emerging track athlete, these running shoes feature a 6-pin spike plate inspired by our MD800 but tweaked to perform for a broad variety of distances and disciplines. Mesh Upper Designed to provide lightweight comfort on race day, the New Balance MD500v8 Running Spikes have been constructed using a breathable mesh upper. The lightweight mesh allows cool air to flow throughout the upper whilst, at the same time allowing hot humid air to escape; this creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. The increases in airflow allow you to remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. To ensure a reliable and secure fit, the upper features a traditional tongue and an updated collar construction for maximum comfort. The tongue sits comfortably against the skin and reduces the risk of chafing and irritation so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage.
