THE CREATION Men are beckoned to another Terre. In 2018, Christine Nagel explored her vision of Terre d’Hermes and created Terre d’Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver. A new luminous vibration, an unprecedented expression of the power of Terre. OLFACTORY NOTES An intense, woody fragrance, Terre d’Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver expresses the depth of vetiver combined with the liveliness of green bergamot and Sichuan pepper. THE OBJECT The original cap takes on the warm brown hue of leather tanned in the sun. At its base, the bottle rests on an H in a deeper shade of orange. At the top, the light is intensified and reflected by the bottle’s metal shoulders. THE HERMeS DETAIL When held in the hand, the Terre d’Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver bottle unveils its many details: the house’s iconic saddle nail, the sliding cover used to release the spray, etc. Created by designer Philippe Mouquet, it is inspired by a bottle in a travel vanity case that is conserved at the Emile Hermes museum. Vetiver, inherent to Terre since its origins, is the culmination of this new composition. The initial woody and mineral balance of Terre becomes woody and vegetal.
