Clean it regularly with a very soft brush and soapy water, then rinse it with clean lukewarm water. Emeralds should not undergo ultrasonic cleaning. Prevent damage or loss of your jewels by storing them individually in their original box after wearing them. Earring backs should be put on gently as forcing them onto the post may result in it becoming stuck, weakened, or bent.
