Crafted of grade-A, sustainably harvested teak, our weathered Portola bench has a subtly curved profile and open-slat design that adds simple elegance to a garden or patio. The teak has been kiln-dried to prevent expansion or shrinkage so it will maintain its shape for years. Stainless steel hardware is fully concealed to maintain the smooth lines. Hand-built from sustainably harvested, high-quality teak that is naturally resistant to mildew, so it holds up to rain and humidity. Durable teak frame is kiln dried to remove moisture, guarding against warping and cracking, and sanded by hand so its smooth to the touch. Over time, teak will develop a natural silver patina if left untreated. Teak naturally releases resinous oils as it weathers; using a rug is recommended to help prevent staining of deck or patio surfaces.
