TEMA E VARIAZIONI NO. 349 WALL PLATE

In 1951, Piero Fornasetti was tasked with decorating the Zodiac suite of the ocean liner Andrea Doria. Naturally, he covered each component and furnishing of the first class cabin in astronomical themes, all hand-printed by the Milanese atelier. Later, in the '80s, Fornasetti translated the Zodiac theme to the brand's homeware - as can be seen with the Tema e Variazioni no. 349 wall plate, which showcases the Taurus illustration.
