Today, Nicholas Wainwright is taking a similar trip to commemorate 60 years since his father's journey, seeking inspiration for a new fine jewellery series in Europe's most beautiful cities. Provence is famed for its lavender fields, which is why tanzanite, jade and sapphire stones in a triptych of purple hues enliven this pair of earrings.
