The Men's Adidas D Rose Son of Chi Godspeed Mint Sneakers in Halo Mint/Core Black is a shoe inspired by the career of American basketball player Derrick Rose and his hometown of Chicago. This iteration of the adidas D Rose Son of Chi features a textile upper in Halo Mint with some dark blue patches revealed underneath. The upper also features a vamp overlay for durability, appearing in the same Halo Mint color. The toe box overlay is perforated for breathability and accented by pale yellow dashes on the sides. The mesh side panels also feature some pale yellow strings coming down from the eyestays. The heel counter-support features a darker blue color with a subtle version of the adidas three stripes, and there’s a pull tab at the top. The black tongue has the Derrick Rose logo in yellow. The Bounce midsole offers energy return and cushioning, and a pearlized outsole completes the look. What we like most about this shoe is the pearlized outsole, which not only adds durability and function to the shoe, but also a unique style.
